Dear Editor,

I'm writing in response to an article in yesterday issue of your newspaper which was about train companies introduciong free Wi-fi on all trains. I completely agree with the article and I would like to point out why free Wi-fi should be introduced on all trains.

Firstly, free wi-fi would be useful if you want to work with the laptop, for example more commuters will catch the train if the companies introduce free WiFi.

Secondly, people who don't have enough money to pay phone rate can communicate with their families and spend a good time playing "Clash Royal" or othe rvideo games

Documentaries are good entertainment

Documentaries are a good way of entertainment and learning on TV nowadays. There are a lot of different types of documentaries such as the jungle, in the sea...

Firstly, I think that there is a lot of variety in documentaries programs. Some people like documentaries of animals and other history, for example in addition, documental are a great was to learning a lot of things.

On the other hand, there are too many boring teenagers, and the prefer reality shows... Also there it is too difficult to record animals for example in the jungle.

To sum up, I think documentaries are interesting but too many boring. There is lots of variety but too many people watch this.

My favourite day

Thanks for you letter and it was a great to hear from you. My favourite day is Saturday.

On reason I like Saturdays is because there isn't school. I like meeting my friends and I also like playing football. Also I play computer games and it's funny.

Other reason that in Saturdays I go to sleep bed later. I don't do homework because it's on Sundays. Definitely, my favourite day is this because I don't go to school.

The best holidays I have ever been on

My best holidays I have ever been on was when I went to Italy with my parents. We stayed there 5 days and we went to Florence, Rome and Genova.

We went by car and we returned by Ferri “Grimaldi Lines”. In my opinion the Ferri isn't very good but one positive thing is that there isn't cheaper. In the cities, we visited a lot of places, for example the pantheon or the Coliseum. The city that is the most beautiful for me, is Rome, and the more ugly Genova.

This holidays was the best because the hotel that staid was the best of Italy and also I did a lot of culture activities. The trip was very good and I would repeat there.

The surprise

It was a normal day of school. I went by bicycle there with my friend Sergi. I was exited because it was the last day of school and it was the winter holidays.

It was 10 a.m. And we were in front of the lake. There were too much people running and walking around. Suddenly, one person who went by bicycle drunk drop in the lake. Then all people who were around it went to help. It was really cold and the people gave her coats.

One people offered to carry her to her house. Finally me and Segi arrived late to school but it was for a good reason.

My favourite relative

In my house , there are four people: my mum, my brother, my father and me. I have a good relationship with them, but with my mum its different.

My mum is an active person and she likes sports like me. Also she lets me to meet people in the niht and go to discos. But not all is positive, because she makes me study and go to bed earlier the days of school.

In conclusion, I like my family a lot of, with their advantatges and disadvantages.

Hi Peter/ Susan,

My name is Marc and I will be your partner in the interchange. I'm 15 years old, I like football, going to gym, meeting friends and playing computer games. I don't like studying maths and playing basketball. My school is very old. It on Porqueras. We don't do a lot of activities. My favorite subject is Economy.

Last year, my friend Sam went to Africa, in the Sahara Desert. He went y plane with her father, Mather and brother. He told me that the weather was well, but there it was very hot. In there he did a lot of activities, for example he went to an oasis or ride camels. Also, he told me what he liked the most rode was the hotel, because it's was in the desert. He didn't like the food

Fat diet

Week 1:

I've taken up fat diet! I can't belive it, but I decided to start that because I think I'm really slim. My parents there weren't agree with me but I started equally.

Week 2:

I start to eat a lot of fat food: hamburguer, ships, meat... and I've got 3 kilos. In this week I recruit a professional abaut fat food an he help me. For me, there is a good experience because I like MC Donalds and the fat food. I think that a few people do this diet.

Week 3:

I fatted 20 kilos and I'm tyred to eat fat food, I don't like myself. I start to do a real diet because I'm really fat, I'm 100 kilos. The experience has made me think that this diet is really bad.

The use of electric bicycles

and mopes

In this world there is too much pollution. For reducing I there are some ways for example the electric bicycles and mopeds but there are arguments for and against this idea.

There are some advantages, for example the energy is renewable, also you do sport when you go by bicycle. Furthermore, if you are lazy you can go by moped, because it's more comfortable and easier than going by bicycle.

There are also arguments against the idea. For instance it's more uncomfortable to go by moped than by car. Moreover there isn't any place to charge mopeds.

On balance, I think this new way of reducing the pollution is great but we need a lot of time to use this kind of energy

Writing 2: An formal email

Dear Sir

I am writing to you to talk about the last concert of Daddy Yankee. It was horrible, the ticket was very expensive, I waited a lot of time and the concert was too short

Firstly, the tickets cost 200 €, and the concert lasted 1 hour. Also I waited a lot of time in the entrance, 2 hours approximated

When the concert finished I waited a lot of time, as well Daddy Yankee had taken drugs, before the concert and the unthinkable thing was that auto tunel went wrong!

Finally, I decided that I won't report you if you give me back the money of the concert. If not you will get in trouble

Writing 1: An informal email

Hi Roberto!

How are you? Did you have a good summer? Me to, I did a lot of things, today I'm write to talk about my new subject: Economy

I started Economy this year. My school Casa Nostra is the firths in Catalonia to do it in ESO 4. You can choose Science or Economy and I choose economy because I want to study business management.

My other news is that I went to a concert of DJ Cactus. It was very funny because a lot of people were wearing pyjams. There were approximate 2500 in pyjams! They played electronic music. The tickets cost 100 € but was worth it
